Bloom

Program

Bloom, formerly Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten, is a new, state-of-the-art learning center for children age 4-12. Teachers inspire children to develop a lifelong passion for learning and plant the seeds for young minds to blossom into their best selves–academically, socially, and emotionally. With a new location, expanded offerings, and a fresh chapter unfolding, we worked together to bring this warm, fun brand to life– both on screen and off.

Inspiration

Inspired by the lifecycle of a plant, students begin as ‘seeds’, ready and eager to grow. They require dedication, care, and the right environment to nurture and develop into beautiful, full plants. Drawing on natural elements and the stages of growth, Bloom’s brand came into full blossom.

Logo

Using simplistic icons of a sun, bud, leaves, hills, and a rainbow, a colorful logo was formed, representing the elements needed to lead young minds to success. Lowercase serifs complemented the nearly symmetrical logo mark, resulting in a minimal and modern logo that abstractly conveys Bloom’s philosophy and the sense of trust and warmth that they offer their families.

Social Media

Photography, simplistic shapes, and short copy made social media content and ads clean and eye-catching. Negative space icons were used for Instagram Story Cover Images with branded colors. Categories included topics such as Philosophy, Testimonials, Programs, & FAQs.

Internal Communication

To keep families aware of in-class progress, announcements, and provide parenting tips, bi-weekly emails and the lobby monitor are used as the main forms of communication. Simple, flat illustrations and minimal copy allows parents to quickly scan the information and get easy take-aways.

Physical Space

Inspired by Swedish interior design, white-stained oak flooring and cabinetry along with off-white walls allowed controlled, minimal branding colors to highlight key areas. The soft, natural shell provides a calm palette for 12’ tall beams, storage containers, toys, and play areas are the main focal points. Natural light from unobstructed windows make the space bright, open, and airy.
